Alexis McLachlan of Wayland is a happily married (to husband Chris McLachlan of six years) mother of Owen, 8 months, and Patrick, 3. Her mother was diagnosed with colon cancer at the age of 35 (the same age McLachlan is currently), when McLachlan was 7 years old and passed away not long after, and her aunt has had breast cancer for a number of years.
