Wayland Town Crier 9/30/13: Wayland residents organize Yoga Reaches Out fundraisers. Yoga Reaches Out, a nonprofit that raises funds for children’s charities through yoga events, held its third New England Yogathon this past April. About 1,000 yogis gathered at Gillette Stadium’s Field House and raised $218,000 for leukemia research at Boston Children’s Hospital, $75,000 for the Children’s Tumor Foundation, and $20,000 for a yoga teacher training program in Newtown, Conn., for children with special needs.  Yoga Reaches Out will host its second Kids’ Yogathon in Newton on Nov. 2, its second Bay Area Yogathon in San Francisco, Calif., on March 15, and the fourth New England Yogathon at Gillette Stadium on April 27.
