Developers withdraw application for new restaurant in Wayland

Wayland Town Crier 9/26/13: Wayland board grants developer’s request to pull restaurant plan. The developer who wants to put up a CVS pharmacy at the former Finnerty’s restaurant property on Main Street has withdrawn accompanying plans to build a restaurant there.
At Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on Tuesday night, neighbors learned that the board granted 150 Main St. LLC’s request to withdraw without prejudice its application for restaurant use and reduced parking.

Wayland Town Crier 9/25/13: Developers withdraw application for new restaurant in Wayland. Neighbors who attended the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting on Tuesday night were surprised to learn that 150 Main St. LLC had, in a letter dated Sept. 19, requested its application for restaurant use and parking be withdrawn without prejudice. The withdrawal allows the owners of the former Finnerty’s restaurant site in south Wayland to come before the ZBA with a future application.
