Wayland Selectmen Hear Open Meeting Complaint

Wayland Patch 9/17/13: Wayland Selectmen Hear Open Meeting Complaint. Wayland selectmen on Monday night were mum in responding to a resident’s Open Meeting Law complaint. Selectmen, overall, said little in response to resident and Wayland Patch blogger Kim Reichelt, who recently filed a complaint alleging the selectmen did not clearly state the agenda item under which they fired former town administrator Fred Turkington on Aug. 26.

Wayland Town Crier 9/18/13: Wayland selectmen still taking heat from residents for decision. The Board of Selectmen continued to take heat on Monday night from residents upset at the abrupt dismissal, without cause, of former Town Administrator Fred Turkington on Aug. 26. Resident Kim Reichelt appeared before the board to discuss the Open Meeting Law (OML) complaint she filed against the board on Sept. 3.

The Open Meeting Law complaint is posted online here.
