Sudbury Valley Trustees Paddle on the Assabet River

SVT’s PADDLE ON THE ASSABET RIVER
Date: Saturday, September 28, Time: 1:00-3:00pm
Location: Assabet River, Concord.
Leader: Susan Crane

Please join Susan Crane, SVT Land Protection Specialist, for an early fall paddle on the Assabet River. Meet at the Old Cow Pasture boat ramp on Lowell Road in Concord, then paddle round-trip to Rt. 62 (Main Street, West Concord), for a total of 6.8 miles. We will put in near Egg Rock, at the confluence of the three rivers, then paddle up the Assabet to West Concord through a beautiful, quiet, partially hemlock-shaded stretch of the river, then back downstream. Bring your own canoe or kayak and life vest. This outing is for experienced paddlers only

SVT members attend for free. Non-Member fee is $10 per person. Registration is required. Register at www.svtweb.org/events-calendar/paddle-assabet-river
