Wayland Town Crier 7/5/13: Wayland Middle School students honor a fallen soldier. A hero, according to social reformer Felix Adler, “is one who kindles a great light in the world, who sets up blazing torches in the dark street for men to see by.”
One such man, Staff Sgt. Matthew Pucino of Plymouth, was recently honored by Wayland Middle School eighth-graders in a solemn ceremony that included poetry, artwork, and poignant memories held in the presence of his parents and siblings.
