Boston Globe 6/14/13: Downpours cause flooding along Charles River; Sudbury River also expected to overtop banks. The Sudbury River at Saxonville is expected to see minor flooding this morning and to remain above flood stage through much of the weekend, the weather service said. Flooding is expected to affect low-lying areas along the river in Wayland, including a part of Shore Road and Pelham Island Road near Heards Pond.

Wayland Patch 6/14/13: Wayland Expected to Experience Minor Flooding Today, Flood Warning Issued. Portions of Wayland’s Pelham Island Road and Shore Road could find themselves under water today. The Sudbury River in Saxonville was at 9.9 feet at 7:15 a.m. this morning and can cause minor flooding when it reaches 10 feet, according to The National Weather Service says.
