Serving Up Health Information on Saturday, June 8, 10am-2pm at the Strawberry Fair. Offering free information on health issues from A to Z – arthritis and asthma to a zest for healthy living and zzz’s for sleep. Everyone in surrounding communities is invited to come for free handouts, resources, children’s health activity sheets and coloring books, blood pressure clinic, viewing of a Tele-Health machine, and much more. Information offered by Parmenter Health Services, Wayland Youth Officer, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, and others. Come and discover ways to lead a healthier life.
Enjoy lunch of hotdogs, chips, soda, strawberry shortcake and sundaes. Search tables for delicious homemade baked goods, an assortment of plants, paperback and hardbound books, and secondhand jewelry. Explore the yard sale for treasures. Have your car washed by the youth group to support their mission trip the first week in July. See you on the 8th at Community United Methodist Church, corner of Main (Rt. 27) and Damon Streets, Cochituate Village, Wayland, across from the Hannah Williams Playground and Park. On the front lawn, or indoors in case of rain.
