Memorial Day Program

Wayland’s Memorial Day Parade will form at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 27, 2013, at the Wayland Middle School, 201 Main Street. The parade steps off at 11:00 a.m. and will proceed along Route 27 to Route 30 to the Lakeview Cemetery in Cochituate.

Parade returns to the Wayland Middle School via Pemberton Road to West Plain Street

In the event of rain, the service will be held in the Middle School Gymnasium at 11:00 a.m.

NOTE: The Council on Aging Van will depart the Wayland Town Building rear parking lot, at the rear door of the Senior Center, at 8:00 a.m. for the early morning ceremonies and non-marching Veterans. Additional non-marching Veterans may board at the parade staging area at the Middle School.

No marching Veterans may be picked up and dropped off at their residences. Please call the Senior Center prior to Memorial Day at (508) 358-2990. First come, first served. The vehicle has only sixteen seats.
