A scholarship has been established in Pam’s name at Wayland High School. The “Pam Washek Memorial Scholarship” will be awarded to a 2013 Wayland High School Senior who has demonstrated a passion for community service. As Pam was an avid student both in and out of the classroom, it is particularly appropriate that a scholarship in her name help another deserving student go on to college.
To establish this scholarship, the sum of $2,500 must be raised each year for the first four years. Once $10,000 has been raised, the scholarship is considered fully funded and will be carried forward to perpetuity. Let’s work with our neighbors to see if we can raise the full $10,000 this first year, establishing Pam’s Memorial Scholarship as a permanent award at the High School!
Contributions to Pam’s scholarship should be made out to “Wayland High School Scholarship Fund” and sent to P.O. Box 36, Wayland, MA. Please include a note that you are sending your contribution for Pam’s scholarship fund, or write “Pam Washek Memorial Fund” on the comment line of your check.
