If you are looking for a gift that features landmarks of Wayland, consider the tissue boxes by Alice Clattenburg of Ashland at the Wayland Depot. These hand painted boxes feature four prominent historic buildings in town: Kirkside (1815), the Captain Edward Pousland House (1866), the Wayland Free Public Library (1900), and the Old Wayland Town Hall (1841). It’s a perfect gift for someone who appreciates Wayland history. The Wayland Depot is the gift shop that gives back to the town by donating proceeds to charitable organizations in Wayland. Most recently, we have donated to The Parmenter Food Pantry, Wayland Charitable Fund, The Rail Trail, and The Wayland Habitat for Humanity project. Shopping at the Depot is supporting both our artists and our town, so please stop by soon! The Depot, located on Route 27 near the Wayland Library, is open Tuesday through Saturday 10:00 to 4:00.
