Please join the WHS String Orchestra, Honors Sinfonia Orchestra, and combined Symphony Orchestra as they collaborate with the Boston String Quartet on Tuesday, May 7 at 7:30 on the WHS Main Stage. This is NOT what you typically expect from orchestra! Works will include the premier of “Starting from Scratch” written by Steve Laven and commissioned by the String Players and families of the class of 2012. You will also be treated to selections by the Charlie Daniels Band, video game themes, Latin funk and much more! Tickets are $10, under 18 free and seniors $5 and will be available at the door.
