“W Day” is a new concept for Wayland and a big idea from new Wayland High School Coach, Joel Bates. According to Bates, “Wayland has had an unyielding commitment to youth lacrosse, thanks to the determination of some very dedicated parents who have built the lacrosse program over the last ten years. As a result of a lot of hard work from players and coaches, our select boys’ youth and high school teams have emerged as very strong competitors and the tradition of youth lacrosse is alive and thriving in Wayland. We hope that “W Day” will attract lacrosse players, fans and supporters from all over Wayland and we look forward to the opportunity to showcase our great teams. “W Day” will be a terrific celebration of our athletes and hopefully, an annual family tradition in Wayland,” continues Bates.

“W Day” will be held rain or shine. For more information about “W Day” or to volunteer to help on May 4, contact Maureen Tillett
