Wayland police are investigating a case of an indecent exposure that occurred on Pemberton Road on Friday, April 12th, at approximately 4:30 P.M. According to the victim/witness, a fifteen year old Wayland girl, she was jogging on Pemberton Road when a silver Toyota Prius pulled up next to her and the operator and sole occupant in the vehicle attempted to engage in conversation. The girl noticed that the man was not wearing pants and she immediately ran from the vehicle to her nearby home. The vehicle then left the area travelling north on Pemberton Road towards West Plain Street.
Police are looking for a white male, described as having brown or dark colored hair and being clean cut. He was estimated to be about 25 years old and was wearing a blue shirt and brown jacket. The vehicle involved was described as a silver Toyota Prius with a Massachusetts license plate.
Anyone that may have been in the area of Pemberton Street at approximately 4:30 P.M. on Friday, April 12th that may have been a witness to this crime is asked to contact detectives at 508-358-4721.
