The Moderator and the Town Meeting Procedures Subcommittee are hosting their regular Post-Town Meeting Open Forum on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at 7:45pm in the Selectmen’s Meeting Room at Wayland Town Hall.

Since January 2010, based on feedback from such forums, Wayland has considered a number of suggestions for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of Town Meeting. Various of those suggestions have already been implemented – electronic voting, abbreviated presentation procedure, a web page for items and projects destined for Town Meeting.

We would like to hear from you what is working well and what might be done to improve the state-mandated local legislative process known as Town Meeting. Please come, discuss, offer constructive criticism, and work with us to improve Town Meeting — a vital part of Wayland’s government.
