Wayland Town Crier 4/2/13: State: Wayland committee violates OML. Another Wayland board has violated the state’s Open Meeting Law, according to a decision written by Assistant Attorney General Jonathan Sclarsic last week. Former selectman Linda Segal filed a complaint with the AG’s office on Dec. 26, alleging the Town Center Green Design Advisory Committee failed to provide meeting minutes, and that the committee’s posted notices before meetings did not contain a list of topics specific enough for residents to anticipate what would be discussed. In addition, Segal believed the committee’s Aug. 2, 2012, meeting minutes were “insufficient.” The Committee’s agenda and minutes are posted online here
