Wayland Town Crier 3/29/13: Wayland Reads kicks off with former U.S. Poet Laureate. Over 200 attendees gathered last Sunday at Wayland Middle School to see former U.S. Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky discuss the town’s “Favorite Poem Project” through the recitation of a few of his favorite poems, along with some of his own. Pinsky founded the “Favorite Poem Project” while serving as poet laureate during the Clinton administration. He urged the audience to go online (www.favoritepoem.org) to see various renditions of well-known poems.
