Police report burglaries and car break-ins

The following was submitted by the Wayland Police Department:

In the recent past the Wayland Police Department has responded to three (3) residential burglaries as well as twelve (12) motor vehicle break and entering’s.

The residential burglaries have occurred during the daytime hours and have occurred on Concord Road, Woodridge Road and Rice Road.  Targeted items in these burglaries include jewelry, computers and cash.

The motor vehicle break and entering’s occurred during the overnight hours of Wednesday, March 27, 2013 into the early morning hours of Thursday, March 28, 2013.  These motor vehicle break and entering’s occurred on Boston Post Road, Melody Lane, Morse Road and Springhill.  GPS units, cash, cameras and sunglasses were stolen.

The Wayland Police Department reminds all residents to take valuables out of their vehicles and lock them when unattended.  Notify the Wayland Police when you observe anything that may be suspicious, such as vehicles or people that may be out of place.
