Weston and Wayland residents in ‘Children of Eden’

Wayland Town Crier 2/7/13: Weston and Wayland residents in ‘Children of Eden’. Many area residents, natives, students and employees will be among the cast members when the curtain rises on Feb. 8 on the Wellesley Players’ debut performance of “Children of Eden,” as well as their debut at their new quarters at the Mosesian Theatre at the Arsenal in Watertown, including Anika Reichelt of Wayland who will play one of the Child Storytellers. “Children of Eden,” with music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and book by John Caird, tells two stories from the Book of Genesis with a dramatic and clever flair. “This musical takes the oldest story ever told and gives it a new life, and this wonderful cast is going to bring that energy to audiences,” said director Chris Brindley, who is making his Wellesley Players debut with this endeavor. Tickets are available online or by sending an email.
