Wayland Patch 1/30/13: Wayland Basketball Player Makes History with 1,000th Point.  Wayland varsity basketball player Jaleel Bell helped his team to a 58-53 victory over Boston Latin Tuesday night, but he achieved a milestone all his own along the way. Just 18 seconds into the second quarter, Bell, a senior guard, scored his seventh and eighth points of the game. Those points also represented his 1,000th and 1,001st points for his Wayland High School career.
