Wayland Town Crier 1/23/13: Trial date looms for Wayland native accused in trooper’s death. It will be another two weeks before a trial date is set for Wayland native William Senne, who faces vehicular homicide charges following the death of State Trooper Ellen Engelhardt in 2011. The scheduling conference originally slated for today in Plymouth Superior Court has been changed to Wednesday, Feb. 6, the court clerk’s office confirmed Tuesday. Senne served 2 1/2 years in the Plymouth House of Correction after his guilty plea to causing bodily harm while driving drunk, and reckless endangerment, in the 2003 crash that left Engelhardt in a vegetative state.

Wayland Patch 1/23/13: Wayland Native Accused in Trooper’s Death Will Have Trial Date Soon. William Senne will wait a couple more weeks to learn his trial date on vehicular homicide charges related to the 2011 death of Massachusetts State Police trooper Ellen Engelhardt. The trial assignment hearing scheduled for Wednesday at Plymouth Superior Court has been rescheduled for Feb. 6, according to the clerk’s office.
