Wayland Town Crier 12/20/12: Wayland Police and Fire departments submit budget requests. As town officials finalize budget figures for presentation to Town Meeting for the fiscal year running from July 2013 to June 2014, Police Chief Robert Irving and Fire Chief Vinnie Smith met with the Board of Selectmen last week to garner support, including hiring one additional full-time employee for each of their departments.
