Wayland Town Crier 12/13/12: Wayland resident to compete in robotics state championship . A robotics team consisting of youngsters from Ashland, Framingham, Southborough, Wayland and Westborough has qualified to compete in the FIRST LEGO League state championship on Saturday, Dec. 15 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The team, called the Angry Owls, features students from the S.E.T. School of MetroWest in Ashland, and includes Daniel Lurie of Wayland.
