Wayland Town Crier 12/11/12: Towns looking at compressed natural gas as fuel alternative. Motivated by high diesel prices and the viability of compressed natural gas, several local communities and a regional transit agency are looking into alternative-fueled buses and trucks. “There’s a cost savings and it burns much cleaner than diesel,” said Wayland Department of Public Works Director Donald Ouellette. “There’s so much logic behind it.”
