As a child, Albert “Red” Kelley was confined to a wheelchair for four years due to cerebral palsy and told he would never walk. Less than a month ago, Kelley, now 73, retired from the job he has held for nearly half a century at the Villa Restaurant, where he helped out in the kitchen and tended bar.
