Little Theatre Concert Series announces schedule for 2012-13 season

This season, all concerts will presented on the Main Stage of Wayland High School.   All of our concerts are free and open to all.

Paik, a Lincoln resident and long-time friend of the Little Theatre Series, has performed widely throughout the United States and abroad, and has taught piano at Regis College for 25 years. She dedicates this performance to the memory of her friend, series founder Allen Barker, with whom she once performed Bartok’s Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion

Faculty Piano Trio, Wayland Music School

Debut performance of a piano trio so new they don’t yet have a name: Wayland violinist Penny Wayne-Shapiro, cellist Zarina Irkaeve, and pianist Sayuri Miyamoto. Program includes the Schubert Bb Piano Trio and Tangos by Boston composer Dianne Rahbee.

The Boston Cello Quartet

The Boston Cello Quartet was founded in 2010 by four cellists of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. With the wish to explore the limitless possibilities of the instrument they love, they perform a wide repertoire ranging from classical music to jazz, tango, contemporary works — and even comic medleys.
