The question: Several readers and callers have asked what’s going on at 373 Commonwealth Road, the site of the former Kathryn Barton Nursing Home. One reader wrote, “First, the facility was demolished in a drip-drip-drip process. Then for the past year or two, the site has looked like the slag heap from a coal mine with huge mounds of dirt piled everywhere. Now the piles have been tidied up a bit, yet certainly there’s more dirt than the site started with.”
