WAYLAND-WESTON CREW: TASTE BOTH ROWING & PANCAKES!

Everyone is invited to a unique fund-raiser for the Wayland-Weston Crew Team on Saturday morning, Sept. 22, at Wayland Town Beach.

  • Come to a delicious pancake breakfast!  8am – noon.
  • Here’s your chance to learn first-hand what Crew team is like.  Interested High School and Middle School students, as well as adults, can sign up for a short Learn-to-Row session on beautiful Lake Cochituate with coaches. Minimum age 13 years.
  • Cheer on our student-athletes in their Ergathon.  (Rowing equivalent of a Walkathon.)
  • For more details, and to reserve a spot for the Learn-To-Row, please visit www.wwcrew.org.
A donation of $30 for a ride in a crew boat and breakfast, (or $10 for just pancakes) is suggested.  This unique event helps the local high school crew team fund purchases of equipment.  Wayland-Weston Crew is the Massachusetts Public Schools Rowing Association state champion for 2012.  The team is nationally recognized, and has had alumni row in the last two summer Olympic games.  Come learn more about us!
