Wayland Town Crier 9/1/12: Local students come back from African dental mission. Working with a pared-down set of tools and sporting a battery-powered headlamp to make up for a lack of electricity, dental student Danielle Currier of Northborough recently set about extracting decayed teeth at a rural African clinic, making her way through a long line of Zambian patients. Nearby, Wayland undergrad Sama Abdul-Aziz acted as a messenger and utility player, running errands and helping organize when needed while collecting data for later statistical analysis.
