Cracking Up Can Be Fun: Lobster Fest on September 30

Join us on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm for Wayland’s biggest Lobster Fest sponsored by the Friends of the Wayland Council On Aging (COA) and held at Sandy Burr Country Club. You can crack up with friends and family, but if you don’t want to crack up, no problem, because we’ll also be serving steak tips, grilled chicken breasts, clam chowder, corn on the cob, salads and more. But the sweetest part may be after dinner when you can make-your-own sundae with Lizzie’s ice cream and toppings.

There will be a huge dessert auction with pies, cakes and cookies made by some of Wayland’s finest bakers and metro-west’s incredible bakeries. Wayland’s own Scott Gaddis will be Master of Ceremonies and auctioneer. Feeling lucky? There will be wine and beer bottle ring toss, raffle items and lottery boards.

Tickets are $60 and are tax deductible. They are on sale at The Wayland Council On Aging, The Village Bank or from a Board Member with The Friends of the Wayland COA. 100% of the profit benefits The Wayland Council On Aging.

Save the date, Save your appetite and …Save room for dessert.

The Friends of the Wayland Council On Aging is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization.  Board Members are: Mary Antes, Jane Capasso, Steve Correia, Dave D’Orlando, Mary Kelly, Patty MacNeil, Sue Pope, Sonja Strong, Betsy Willard, Denise Yurkofsky and Julie Secord representing The Wayland Council On Aging.
