Wayland Patch 8/9/12: A Familiar 'Voice' Returns to the Wayland Warriors Family. “The Voice” is headed back to Wayland this fall. No, it’s not the television show of spinning chairs and competing singers. Rather, it’s Hank Wilk, the former stadium announcer for Wayland High School football who will return to his chair in the press box this fall after an eight-year hiatus.

Wayland Patch 8/10/12: Parent takes on new role in Wayland athletics. The Wayland High School boys' and girls basketball teams will have an all-around athletic advocate announcing their games when the season begins this fall. Eric Schwartz is on-board to handle the announcing duties for the first basketball season the Warriors will play in their renovated Field House.
