Hollis Welch Sullivan (Director for 50th Revue) started her long association with WDW as a pirate back in the 1970 production of Treasure Island.  This summer (2012) marks Holly's 28th season with the organization.  Over the years she has been involved with over 50 workshop productions, be it as director and/or music director or on stage, either in the chorus or as a lead (she played the title role in 1981's production of The Merry Widow.)  She has also played piano in the pit, designed/executed hair styles and make-up, run a spot light, sewn costumes, worked backstage and painted sets.  Audiences may remember Holly's directorial efforts with Oklahoma! last summer in 2011 and the Moss Hart Award-winning production of Ragtime in 2006, among other productions.  A graduate of Weston High School, Holly went on to double major in Music and Education at Smith College where she was an active member of the Smith College Glee Club and the Smiffenpoofs.  Since graduation, Holly has spent many years teaching music in various schools by day and being involved with local community and college theatre by night.  Most recently, Holly directed Thoroughly Modern Millie for the Weston Friendly Society in the spring of 2011.  Currently Holly is a member of the faculty at Montrose School in Medfield where she teaches middle school music and high school drama.  She lives in Wellesley with her wonderful husband, John, and their four fabulous children, Daniel, James, Bridget and Nora.
