Help out shoreline cleanup at Cochituate State Park

Wayland Town Crier 6/13/12: Help out shoreline cleanup at Cochituate State Park. This Saturday, June 12, the “Cochituate State Park Annual Shoreline Cleanup” will take place along the banks of Lake Cochituate from 9 a.m. to noon. The aim of the event, organized by the Cochituate State Park Advisory Committee (CSPAC), is to clean up debris and refuse that has collected on the lake’s shores during the winter and spring. Anyone wishing to volunteer to help with the work should meet at the Cochituate State Park boat ramp at the main entrance to the park on Route 30 in Natick (just off of Exit 13 of the Mass. Pike). Volunteers will be taken by boat to cleanup areas around the 17-square-mile lake, whose waters run through Natick, Wayland and Framingham.
