Wayland High School Graduation Will be Streamed over the Web this Sunday, June 10

Wayland High School Graduation Will be Streamed over the Web This Sunday, June 10 by WayCAM and WSPN.

Combining our technology, WayCAM and WSPN, for the first time, will be covering the Wayland High School Senior Graduation ceremony this Sunday, June 10, from 3pm to 5pm.  Coverage will depend on the weather.

If it’s sunny or cloudy on the day of the Graduation:  The program will be in the Football Field and we plan to stream it on the Web. Go to www.WayCAM.tv , or the student site www.waylandstudentpress.com  .  Note: This is a pilot test of this new equipment, so it might not work during the actual event. Please do not plan your day around it.  If successful, it WILL stream live on the Web, but will NOT be broadcast live on TV, since WayCAM does not have a required live feed in the press box.  The program will be taped by WayCAM for future broadcasting both on the TV cable schedule and On-Demand at www.Waycam.tv .

If it is rainy, graduation ceremonies will be inside the High School Field House and it will be both streamed AND broadcast LIVE on Comcast Channel  8 and Verizon Channel 37.  The stream will be on both the WSPN and the WayCAM websites.

Following graduation, WayCAM will be making DVDs available of the full graduation ceremony for anyone wishing a copy.  DVDs will be available for a $10 (plus mailing) donation to WayCAM. To order the DVD send an email request to grad2012@waycam.tv .
