Register your children to participate in TCC’s SonRise National Park “True Nature” Show June 25-28

Trinitarian Congregational Church (TCC), 53 Cochituate Road, Wayland, is once again offering “Kids’ Week” June 25 through June 28, 2012.  SonRise National Park hours are nine a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, with an evening family closing celebration and barbecue on June 28 from six to eight p.m.

“Kids’ Week” is TCC’s version of what is traditionally known as Vacation Bible School, but with more fun! At SonRise National Park, kids will learn about True Peace, True Riches, True Power, True Love and True Hope. Kids will kick off their morning with interactive large group assemblies where the audience will have a blast determining which of the three contestants will be the winner of that day’s wacky True Nature survival challenge—kayaking, dog-sledding, and worm eating contests to name a few!  The rest of the morning will be spent in age-leveled groups where kids will participate in lively music, creative crafts, and adventure challenges of their own.

“SonRise National Park” Kids’ Week is offered free of charge to children entering kindergarten through entering grade five.  There will, however, be opportunities to help support both foreign and local missions.  Monies will be collected to support a Haitian child’s education and dietary needs, as well as to purchase equipment for Waypoint Adventure, a local non-profit group.  Waypoint’s Mission is to help youth and adults of all abilities discover their purpose, talents, and strengths through the transforming power of adventure.  www.waypointadventure.org
