Please join Tracy and Kevin Keegan in a service celebrating the life of their daughter, Marina Evelyn Keegan. The service will be held on Saturday, June 2 at 2pm at First Parish in Wayland (Unitarian Universalist Church at 50 Cochituate Rd). Shuttle service will be available to the service for Marina Keegan on Saturday starting at 1pm. Several vans will be shuttling from the Claypit parking lot to First Parish and back.
Kevin and Tracy Keegan have established a fund to benefit young writers, like their daughter, at Yale. Checks can be made payable to Yale University, Marina Keegan Memorial Fund c/o Yale University, Box 2038, New Haven CT 06521-2038. Gifts can also be made online at www.yale.edu/give. Under "Special Instructions" donors can choose "In Memory" and follow the instructions.
Among remembrances of her life published yesterday were those in the Yale Daily News and the New York Post. Among her many talents, Marina was an outstanding writer, and among the pieces of which she was most proud was this one: Even Artichokes Have Doubts in the Yale Daily News. It launched a discussion across college campuses about financial careers (and resulted in a piece in the New York Times).
