Wayland Town Crier 5/18/12: Eager young fishers cast their lines in Wayland. The fish were flying at the Wayland Youth Fishing Derby on May 12 at Mill Pond in Wayland. For the past 13 years, the event has been organized and sponsored thanks to the efforts of Carpentry by Tom Antonellis. The derby supports a different charity or nonprofit in the community each year, hoping to encourage the community to give back.
