Wayland Town Crier 5/10/12: Team Cure of Wayland to be honored at Hearts and Heroes Gala. The 30th annual Hearts and Heroes Gala on Saturday, May 12 at the Boston Marriott Copley Place will include the presentation of the Nancy Jones Diabetes Champion Award to Team Cure of Wayland. The goal of the black tie event is to raise more than $1.2 million to fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes (T1D).
