On April 3, the Massachusetts Department of Revenue seized the store for failure to pay $32,071 mostly in sales taxes. About a week later, owners Jim and Lynn Piecewicz agreed that letting the Photo Video Store in Wayland go to auction was the most reasonable course of action given the taxes owed.
