Wayland Patch 3/27/12: Tom Hanks, Film Crew Using Concord Road on Thursday. Motorists who tend to use Concord Road in Sudbury may want to reconsider using it on Thursday. According to Sudbury Police Lt. Scott Nix, the film crew for "Captain Phillips," starring Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks, will use a portion of Concord Road to film a driving scene. Nix said to accommodate the filming efforts, portions of Concord Road will shut down sporadically.
