Wayland Town Crier 3/22/12: Discussions continue with neighbors on new DPW facility. Efforts to hammer out a compromise between the Board of Public Works and neighbors of the proposed new Department of Public Works facility on River Road were inconclusive Tuesday night. Representatives of Save Scenic & Historic River Road Group promised to support the project at Town Meeting if they receive certain guarantees. The Board of Public Works and DPW Director Don Ouellette said they are open to some concessions, but are making no firm commitments at this time.
