Wayland Town Crier 3/12/12: Dudley Chateau is the place to be for Open Mic Night. Occasionally there are combinations of music and locale that compliment each other beautifully. Samba music on a tropical beach is one. Bluegrass music while riding in a hay wagon on a sunny day is another. The Open Mic at the Dudley Chateau is certainly one more. Upon climbing the worn stairs up into the dimly lit rustic tavern that has graced Wayland’s Dudley Pond since Prohibition, one will hear laughter, the clink of glasses, and the sound of acoustic guitars accompanying fine vocal harmonies.
