Selectman charged with restraining order violation

Wayland Patch 3/9/12:  Selectman charged with restraining order violation.   Wayland Police arrested Selectman Joe Nolan Sunday on charges of violating a restraining order. Police responded to a call on the morning of Sunday, March 4, and following an investigation, charged Nolan with a technical violation of a restraining order that requires him to remain at least 100 yards from one of his three children.

Wayland Town Crier 3/9/12: Wayland selectman and former state rep candidate arrested. Selectman and former state representative hopeful Joseph F. Nolan was arrested last weekend for violating a restraining order. Police Chief Robert Irving said Nolan was arrested on Sunday morning after coming within 100 yards of one of his children named in the restraining order, while dropping off another one of his children at the home on Maguire Road.
