MWRTA Expands Shuttle Service to Boston Hospitals

Wayland Patch MWRTA Expands Shuttle Service to Boston Hospitals. On March 8, the Metrowest Regional Transit Authority expanded its shuttle service to Boston-area hospitals. The shuttles will run weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will transport riders to the Veteran's Hospitals in Jamaica Plain and West Roxbury as well as hospitals in Boston's Longwood Medical Area. Riders must register at least one day in advance for the trip. The registration form is available here or riders can register by calling the MWRTA at either 508-935-2222 or 508-820-4650. In August, the MWRTA expanded its Bus 10 and 11 routes to include stops at Wayland's Cochituate School and Bent Park housing facilities. Both routes will take riders to the Central Hub in Framingham where they can catch the hospital shuttles. The shuttle costs $2 each way. Routes are on the linked article.
