Wayland Town Crier 3/5/12: Wayland and Weston residents exhibiting at the Griffin Museum. The Photography Atelier 15 will present an exhibit of student and faculty artwork from March 7 to 25. Photography Atelier, in its 15th year, is a unique portfolio-making course offered by the Griffin Museum of Photography for emerging to advanced photographers. The class prepares artists to market, exhibit and present their work to industry professionals. On Thursday, March 8, the public is invited to attend an artists’ reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Among the 2012 Atelier members are Alice Shafer, whose photographs, “Everyday Moments,” focus on candid photography of people and children. Shafer was a 25-year resident of Wayland and one of the founding members of Arts/Wayland.
