Wayland Town Crier 2/26/12: Bee enthusiasts meet up in Wayland. The Wayland BEElieve group for bee enthusiasts, initiated by Transition Wayland, convened for the first time on Feb. 16, with a dozen people coming to share their interest in bees. Many were interested in starting or restarting with bees, some have been keeping bees for a couple of years, and there was one experienced beekeeper who has had hives since the ’70s. There were also gardeners interested in attracting bees for their flowers, vegetables and fruit trees.
