Wayland Town Crier 2/3/12: Archdiocese asks Lincoln, Weston and Wayland to share resources. Two local Catholic churches, encompassing hundreds of families in Lincoln and Weston, would share resources and staff with another parish in Wayland under a proposal under consideration by the Archdiocese in Boston. The plan would create 127 so-called “pastoral collaboratives,” linking the 290 parishes in the Archdiocese. A typical collaborative would encompass two or three parishes.
