Join Walking Wayland through town’s trails

Wayland Town Crier 12/7/11: Join Walking Wayland through town’s trails – Wayland, MA – Wicked Local Wayland. Walking Wayland continues its program to systematically walk Wayland’s trails, one by one exploring existing public Wayland pathways and taking time to quietly meditate, until our feet have connected with the earth beneath each one. Everyone of all ages is welcome to these walks, which are sponsored by Transition Wayland’s initiative Wayland Walks, the Nature Chaplaincy Program of Ma’yan Tikvah, and Peace Lutheran Church. Each walk will last about one hour and will be led by Rabbi Katy Allen of Ma’yan Tikvah. Future walks are scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 10 at 5:30 p.m., a full moon walk at Heard Pond Conservation Area, and on Friday, Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m., at a location to be determined. Walks will take place rain or shine. For more information about the walks contact Katy Allen. For information about Transition Wayland contact Kaat Vander Straeten.
