Wayland Town Crier 11/8/11: Sandy Burr gets probation for liquor violation. Selectmen unanimously voted last night to put a local country club on probation for a year after three underage men bought alcohol there in September. The probation starts today. If another violation occurs during the probationary period, Sandy Burr Country Club will incur an automatic five-day suspension of its liquor license. Ken Munsey, Sandy Burr's general manager and president, did not refute any of the evidence Police Chief Robert Irving presented to the board last night.
