WHDH 11/1/11: WHDH-TV – Wayland goes trunk-or-treating thanks to Mother Nature. They were the usual sounds of Halloween: “trick-or-treat,” but Mother Nature pulled the ultimate trick. In Wayland, hanging limbs made some roads impassable and power lines hung exposed. “No one wants to get electrocuted, really,” said a girl. But, parents there had a trick up their sleeves. For two hours, dozens of wizards and witches scrambled amongst the 50 cars for their annual treats.
